Celestolite Mars Stellar Serum Ingredients – What to Look For

For any product to be considered as legitimate, its list of ingredients is something to go by. This luxurious product features the following ingredients:

  • Propylene Glycol – This ingredient is considered a hydrophilic thus used to enhance penetration. It is also used for its emulsifying, skin cleansing and conditioning properties, as indicated in the journal Toxicological Research.
  • Glycerin – It is either extracted from plants or animals and is a common anti-aging ingredient. I might help reduce wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles and loss of elasticity, according to an article in the Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology journal.
  • Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil – Castor oil is derived from the Ricinus communis seed and is used as an emulsifier. It may also play the role of a skin conditioning agent, surfactant and stabilizer according to the International Journal of Toxicology.
  • Sodium Hyaluronate – This is the popular form of hyaluronic acid used in cosmetics. It has the best capacity to retain water which may keep skin hydrated and moisturized. This ingredient also penetrates the skin layers and attracts and binds water thus might keep the skin looking plump and youthful, as indicated in a research abstract in the Dermato Endocrinology.
  • Collagen – is the most plentiful protein in the body. It is responsible for the strength, stability and structure of the skin. It works to improve the appearance of the skin around the neck as well as facial skin.

Made Difficult To Apply Any Makeup

When I received this product and tried it I really liked it. So I decided to again purchase it I had hoped it can soften and hydrate my skin during winter months. I have extremely dry skin during the winter and needed a moisturizer that can hydrate and plump my skin due to dry weather conditions. The first few days the product worked well but as the week went by the product would begin to flake off my skin and not absorb. This made it difficult to apply any makeup and it left my skin dry.
