How Does it Work – The Science Behind Plexaderm

To understand how Plexaderm works, you have to look at the working of key ingredients as mentioned above.

One of the main claims of this product is to reduce the appearance of the bags we sometimes get under our eyes. The reason we get these bags become so apparent the connective tissue under the eyes weakens with age. This results in prominent fat under the skin of our under-eyes. That combined with mild dehydration or a touch of seasonal allergies one could look puffy.

These changes are due to genetics and aging. The Penn State University site published an article that confirms that genes may also play a factor and that it may be a hereditary condition.

In any case, Plexaderm skincare is supposed to help restore the connective tissues under the eye. It may also help reduce the darkness under the eyes through the utilization of titanium dioxide. Chemical Safety Facts points out that titanium dioxide has a whitening effect. It can brighten the skin and hide blemishes as well.

Plexaderm manufacturer Sheer Science actually produces and markets a whole line of cosmetics under the Plexaderm skincare brand. Plexaderm beauty products can help improve the look of under-eye bags and wrinkles.

  2. Night Time Collagen Peptide Serum ($19.95 for 1 bottle)
  3. Reset and Replenish Pads ($21.95 for 1 bottle)

The Bottom Line on Plexaderm

The official site for Plexaderm Skincare Rapid Reduction Cream/Serum seems to be a little skewed toward the product. It boasts the wonderful benefits that the user can get from using their product.

These benefits include fewer lines around the eyes and the mouth area as well as fewer wrinkles on the forehead. It also reports the improvement of crow’s feet and under-eye bags and puffiness.

It also states that each bottle comes with a semi-lengthy return policy of 30 days.

On the other hand, there are a significant amount of negative reviews online. This leads us to believe that at least some of the claims are untrue.

There are also some potentially harmful, synthetic materials in Plexaderm. (Note: I personally have never tried the product.)

Is There Anything Else I Should Know about Plexaderm?

The manufacturers themselves warn that there is a potential risk of skin irritation and redness from using Plexaderm and that if it happens, you should discontinue use.

You should also be aware that Plexaderm’s effects will not last as long under conditions of extreme sweat, oil or moisture.

We believe this product has little potential upside in terms of its price. Is Plexaderm good? Maybe if it were less expensive it would be worth the trying.

Keep in mind that if you do buy it, you can return it within 30 days if you are unhappy with the results from the cream.

Of course, it may take longer than 30 days to see any results so make sure to use daily as directed by the package insert and try to photo document your progress of the condition of your skin while using Plexaderm skincare.

Is Plexaderm worth the value, No

I’ve read positive reviews, which is nice. However, less than positive reviews are made difficult to locate. To me, suppressing those reviews is disingenuous of Plexaderm. My review was less than 5 stars and I couldn’t locate it. That’s not honest and if I was speaking of a person, I would identify that as an ill character.

Can't Move My Face After Application

I’ve used another product of this type claiming the same results. These products tighten the skin but if you move the skin were covered, the product cracks, the application loses its effectiveness, and it’s very flakey and that can be seen by others. I believe the best use of this product is for bags under the eyes, again I still found flaking. This review is based on my personal experience.

    Plexaderm skincare commercial.

This article was very informative and answered alot of the questions that I had about Plexaderm. I see their commercial on TV alot which shows a lady with wrinkles. A cosmetologist applies the cream and after a few minutes, the wrinkles disappear right on camera! The Plexaderm commercial doesn’t look doctored or touched up but I still had some questions about it and the review answered a few of them. The reviewer didn’t seem to favor Plexaderm according to their studies so if I based my purchasing the product on them I would decline but the curious side of me wants to still try it out because after all there is a money back guarantee! Wish me luck!

Plexaderm for eyes... I'm not seeing any results

I bought plexaderm under eye serum after trying three different brands. I have been using this for a month and the dark circles under my eyes are still not faded! Also, when I apply this serum it gives me a burn like sensation for a few minutes. I don’t think so I will buy plexaderm for under-eye bags again ever for such results.

The personal training at 61 looks 81 and didn't really change much maybe looks 75 now

Alot of money and having to use every day doesn’t last long…use every 4 /5 hour. I would not buy plexaderm again. Do not see permanent plexaderm results after a few hours and pretty sure you could use sugar and water.

Plexaderm really works but don't move your face!

Plexaderm worked as instructed. I placed it around my eyes to remove the dark circles and bags. In 10 minutes, after some burning, it looked great. But, my eyes felt like I had glue around them. I went to smile to see how it changed the crow’s feet and it turned a darker color, which was very obvious, and cracked as glue would. It tells you not to apply plexaderm under makeup unless you have to. You would have to in order to cover up the discoloration. I would say it worked great if you don’t mind your face feeling like it’s glued and pulled tight, and you don’t plan on making any facial expressions at all. Once you wash it off, you’re back to where you started.

    Plexaderm results are not permanent

If someone asked to give me ratings about Plexaderm cream, I will rate this product 1 out of 5. This dried out my under eyes. It didn’t even feel moisturizing when I first applied it, it just felt thick, when it dried down it was flakey. Not only was I not able to apply makeup over the top of it, but it also made my under eyes drier than when I skip the moisturizer. I developed two lines under my eyes from it dehydrating my skin. I am so disappointed with this product. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

Does plexaderm work? No, it's a Big Disappointment for me!

I have done a lot of research about this product before buying it, I have read the plexaderm complaints also…however the positive reviews make me try this product. I’ve used this product for a month but I am not pleased with this formulation. After using plexaderm rapid reduction serum, brown rings under my eyes after using for about a week and wrinkles are noticeably worse. My face still looks sleepy and tired. Sad to say I have stopped using this product and I’ll have to find another product. I would never recommend plexaderm skincare to anyone.

plexaderm how long does it last

I have been using Plexaderm eye cream for a couple of days now. I don’t like the formula. The scent is too strong. There are so many Plexaderm side effects that I had faced. It makes my eyes watery & itchy in the corner of my eyes. This formula is also very greasier and does not set easily. It moisturizes but it is almost sticky. When I put my concealer over plexaderm with makeup, it makes my concealer crease and makes my face look more oily. It looks as if my concealer is melting! I will not purchase plexaderm for under-eye bags again.

    I'll try another options available!

I tried this in the store and it felt great. Then, I got it home and used it for a week. Other reviewers said it made their face feel greasy, and I couldn’t figure out why. Then, the stuff just started to sit on top of my skin and it felt grossly greasy. It barely soaked into my skin, and I have dry skin! The one point the seller made was that this isn’t a water-based moisturizer, so that’s the main reason I think it wouldn’t absorb. Also, as others have noted, the smell of it isn’t so great. I took it back and exchanged it for another moisturizer.

    Your skin DON'T bounce back!

You may not realize this, but as you get older, your skin starts to lose its elasticity naturally. Sometimes you have to help it along. I have found a plexaderm trial and got to know how good is Plexaderm. Believe me, when you hit your 40s and 50s, your skin really needs good nourishment. Don’t ignore your skincare or you’ll be sorry later! Plexaderm cream doesn’t work for me but maybe it can go with your skin.

    Do not buy Plexaderm skincare!

I received my Plexaderm serum yesterday and could not wait to try it. It was very disappointing. I got my daughter to take a before & after picture of the one eye I used it on, and there was zero difference. Then I got my 21-year-old son to see if he could pick out which eye I used it on (that was about 15 mins. after I put Plexaderm on) and he couldn’t tell a difference. It feels like you put crazy glue under your eye. The plexaderm rapid reduction serum dries up hard and when you squint that hard skin does not move, so you look really crazy. I don’t know why there are so many good Plexaderm reviews because it sure did not work for me.

It's a pretty good eye cream!

I really love this product! I have combination skin and I’m 36 years old. I noticed a significant difference after using plexaderm skincare for a month. It’s creamy, hydrating and it’s not sticky or oily, which I like. It does great with moisturizing my skin and treating dark under-eye circles.

I saw no improvement after months of use.

I am very disappointed with this product. I read mixed reviews and really wanted to love it. I don’t mind spending a lot of money on something that works great. I do like that it goes on nicely … not greasy but light. It is extremely expensive and it did nothing to improve the appearance of the area around my eyes. I just turned 40 and have nice skin in general but noticed some eye puffiness. I have used this product for several months and have not noticed any improvement around my eyes.

I started feeling plexaderm rapid reduction cream is working

I’m a lady in my late 40s, and I had crow’s feet that I hate. I began utilizing plexaderm eye cream about a month prior as I continually search for creams. When I put on the product, I started feeling it is working, indeed pulling back my skin to cause the lines to vanish. Yet, it’s a decent quick fix for wrinkles and my under eyes.

    Plexaderm price - I'd say it's OK!

I purchased plexaderm at amazon as a swap for another brand I have used for two or three years. It has ended up being a viable item, works rapidly and you need just utilize next to no of it, making it an incredibly decent worth. For me, I just use it for a night out, or any unique time I have to put my best self forward, and I am content with the outcomes.

Don't spend your money on plexaderm cream!

I was curious about the product after seeing it several times in advertisements. I purchased plexaderm for under-eye bags since they were 50% off and gave one for my sister to try as well. We both saw NO change at all!

Plexaderm serum didn't help my dark circles

I purchased Plexaderm rapid reduction serum because it was supposed to be able to help with the dark circles under my eye, and I was looking forward to something because of the presence of effective ingredients. However, it failed to do anything for me. I have seen the development of many new fine lines around my eyes and the dark circles seem to have even gotten worse. I won’t be purchasing it again because it failed to live up to its claims. The puffiness is still evident and I am becoming frustrated because nothing seems to work that I have tried.
