ALASTIN Skincare Ingredients – What to Look For

All ALASTIN Skincare products utilize the power of this signature key ingredient:

  • TriHex Peptide – A blend of biologically active peptides and botanicals that, unlike any other, penetrates the skin to induce changes in the skin’s extracellular matrix. It stimulates the body to produce more collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin makes the skin plump and smooth. They also induce repair and recovery of damaged or inflamed skin. The importance of collagen and elastin in skin health and beauty were discussed in these articles from the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and International Journal of Cosmetic Science.

How Does It Work? | The Science Behind ALASTIN Skincare

Collagen and elastin are the key proteins that make up the skin, but their natural production tends to decline as one ages.

The TriHex peptide in ALASTIN Skincare products counteracts this process by increasing the production of collagen and elastin by the body.

It claims to calm skin inflammation, facilitates repair and recovery of damaged skin, and protect the skin against further damage.

ALASTIN Skincare: Packages, Deals, Prices & Where to Buy It

The products are available through the official website and several authorized providers.

These products are sold individually or in sets. Price varies and ranges from $30 to $195 for the individual products and $125 to $280 for the sets.

The Bottom Line

ALASTIN Skincare has a good reputation in both skincare professionals and ordinary users. Their products are top-rated and no surprise there since they are made by experts themselves.

The only issue would probably be the price, as these products don’t come cheap. Of course, you can always find a less pricey alternative such as Nerium, Formulyst and Lacura Q10, but there’s no guarantee that the effects will match this brand.

Now, if you’ve decided that you want to try the brand but you don’t know which one to pick, there’s always your trusted dermatologist to seek advice from.

Based on your skin type and skin issues, he/she should help you select which ALASTIN products are most appropriate for you to help achieve optimum results.

Is There Anything Else You Should Know About ALASTIN Skincare?

As mentioned, their products are also sold through authorized specialists.

The official website has a provider locator to help find one that’s closest to you. This locator narrows your search based on your city and/or the name of your doctor.

Sadly I can’t say that I like it or would want to continue using.

I have been using this for a month, my skin does not feel any more moisturized than before. The only reason I gave 2 stars is that at least it didn’t negatively affect my skin and is a way to apply and dissolve into the skin. Sadly I can’t say that I like it or would want to continue using.
