How Does It Work? | The Science Behind Eye Elixir

Eye Elixir is an eye formula that contains intentional and impactful ingredients. These ingredients join forces to blur the appearance of fine lines, plump wrinkles, de-puff under eyes, and fade dark circles.

By brightening the eye area, Eye Elixir gives users an overall facial makeover, leaving them looking rejuvenated and youthful. Eye Elixir is designed to target fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, puffy skin, loss of elasticity, sagging, and dull skin.

Eye Elixir Ingredients – What to Look For?

Hyaluronix – This is Tru Alchemy’s patented ingredient that contains hyaluronic acid, a key hydrator that can retain up to 1000x its weight in moisture. Hyaluronic acid is known as a key molecule in skin hydration.

According to a clinical trial in the Indian Dermatology Online Journal, hyaluronic acid fillers were claimed to be ideal treatments in restoring volume loss in the tear trough area [2]. It also relieved the sunken tired appearance instantly.

Squalene- This is a powerful antioxidant that is claimed to calm redness and help the skin to be more vibrant and healthy. Squalene is a triterpene found in amaranth oil, olive oil, palm oil, rice bran oil, and wheat-germ oil.

A review in the Molecules journal provided that squalene has antioxidant, emollient, hydrating, and anti-tumor activities on skin. The study also claimed that squalene plays a critical role in preventing free radical oxidative damage to the skin.

Caffeine – This is a natural stimulant present in tea, coffee, and cacao. In eye care, it is claimed to reduce puffiness and dark circles. Placing refrigerated damp tea bags on the eyelids has been used for a long to reduce puffy eyes thanks to the vasoconstriction of caffeine.

A study in the Journal of Applied Pharmaceutical Science found that caffeine gel was effective in reducing eye puffiness [3]. However, the cooling effect of the hydrophilic gel was the reason for the de-puffing.

Niacinamide – This is a form of vitamin B3, an essential nutrient that helps to soothe redness, minimize pores, and boost brightness. Niacinamide is used in many cosmeceutical formulations as it has a wide array of cutaneous effects.

It has antioxidant effects which according to studies in the Journal of Clinical Aesthetic and Dermatology help to reduce skin yellowing, erythema, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles [4].

Ferulic Acid – This is an antioxidant that is claimed to fade hyperpigmentation and ease redness. It also boosts the working of other antioxidants. A clinical trial in the Dermatologic Therapy tried to evaluate the effectiveness of ferulic acid’s antiaging activity [5].

In the study, it was discovered that this nutrient showed improvement in skin elasticity, anti-redness, hydration, and smoothness. When combined with microneedling, ferulic acid was found to work even more efficiently especially in regards to skin elasticity.

Eye Elixir Tru Alchemy has worked for me so far. Good product!

I don’t understand the bad reviews people give to Tru Alchemy products. How can this stuff be bad? Tru Alchemy Eye Elixir ingredients are so good. I just started using and it’s working for me. A lot of my puffiness goes away and I have a lot fewer lines. Hope it works on the dark circles as well. I’ll continue to use Elixir eye cream.
