How Does Muniq Work?

This shake is meant to replace a meal and provide appetite suppression benefits to help with weight loss. It does this because it’s full of organic protein, so it fills up the stomach. A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found a link between protein and weight loss [1].

It’s also high in fiber, which can help move the waste along the intestines more quickly for more regular bowel movements. In addition, it may help decrease symptoms like gas and bloating. There are ingredients which help speed up the metabolism, causing the body to enter the fat-burning state of thermogenesis.

Dietary fiber also helps to control blood sugar levels and reduce the absorption of cholesterol. An article in Food Hydrocolloids discussed the connection between dietary fiber and weight loss [2].

The shakes are high in antioxidants, which promote general health and immunity by killing free radicals and lowering oxidative stress. They also have anti-inflammatory benefits which can help reduce swelling in the body.

What Are the Ingredients in Muniq?

These are some of the primary active ingredients in Muniq:

Prebiotics – These are bacteria which feed the good microbes in the gut, so they can proliferate and balance the microbiome. They play a role in improving digestive health and eliminating symptoms like gas and diarrhea.

An article in Current Developments in Nutrition discussed the health effects and sources of prebiotic dietary fiber [3].

Unripened Green Bananas – Unripened green bananas are largely made up of resistant starch with probiotics bacteria which help promote digestive health. They can enhance the health of the gut microbiome and encourage regular bowel movements.

In addition, they may help lower your blood sugar levels. A review in Nutrients explored the health benefits of consuming green bananas [8].

Pea Protein – This is an organic protein which is easy to digest. It helps fill up the stomach, which could suppress the appetite and help you lose weight.

Its rich in amino acids, iron, and other nutrients and supports good health. A study published in Nutrients confirmed that pea protein may help with weight loss [4].

Oat Beta Glucan – This is a soluble fiber derived from the walls of bacteria. It may lower cholesterol levels and support heart health. In addition, it can help suppress the appetite and promote better digestion.

An article in the Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism examined the health benefits of beta glucan on obesity and metabolic syndrome [5].

Cocoa Powder – Chocolate comes from cacao beans, which are from the seeds of a tree. They have caffeine and may speed up the metabolism for fat-burning and weight loss.

Cacao also contains some fibre which helps promote better digestion. A study in the Journal of Medicinal Food found that cocoa can help decrease serum triglyceride levels [6].

Allulose – This is a sweetening agent which tastes similar to sugar but has very few calories. It may also help to reduce blood sugar levels and increase insulin sensitivity.

It’s safe to consume and is approved by the U.S FDA. An article by Cambridge University Press discussed the knowns and unknowns of allulose in the human diet [7].

Guar gum – Guar gum is a fiber extracted from the seed of the guar plant. It is mostly used as a food additive in many-processed food. Guar gum has been linked to multiple health benefits.

Conclusion

Muniq is a meal replacement shake which comes in a few flavors that are variations of chocolate and vanilla. They promise to suppress the appetite, burn fat, and promote weight loss, improve digestion, lower cholesterol, boost the immune system, and balance blood sugar. The formula is natural but could be better with added weight-loss ingredients.

The only Muniq Shake reviews online seem to be the ones on the manufacturer’s website. These were quite positive, with some customers saying they use the product regularly and it has helped with weight loss and other heath benefits. However, we’d like to see some outside reviews to conform this.

Muniq is a fairly healthy shake, although high in carbohydrates. Although it’s not really associated with side effects, there are some mild ones that could occur. If you develop stomach upset or other issues, this may not be the meal replacement product for you.
