A Quick Overview of the Jan Marini Brand

Jan Marini Skin Research Inc. is a well-known leader and innovator in the skincare industry, dedicated to constantly developing the professional skincare market. Glycolic acid exists in some of the brand’s successful products, including Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream and Bioglycolic Face Cleanser.

Back in the mid-90s, Jan Marini, founder and CEO of Jan Marini Skin Research, was a leading researcher in the use of glycolic acid in skincare products, hence why most Jan Marini products have glycolic acid as a core ingredient.

How Do Jan Marini Products Work?

Jan Marini Skin Research, Inc. was created with a single purpose in mind: to provide scientifically enhanced skincare products that are results-oriented. These products smooth fine lines and wrinkles, even skin tone, and stimulate collagen for a firm and young complexion by utilizing the most revolutionary active ingredients in skincare today, such as peptides and vitamin C, as well as retinol and hyaluronic acid.

As previously said, Jan Marini was an early glycolic acid pioneer; therefore, it stands to reason that glycolic acid is present in many Jan Marini skincare products. So, let’s dig a little deeper into this so-much-valued AHA.

Glycolic acid is unusual because it has the smallest molecular size of any AHA. So, why should you be concerned with molecule size? The size of a molecule is important because the smaller it is, the easier it is to penetrate the skin. As a result, glycolic acid enters the skin better and faster than the others. This is why glycolic acid is regarded as the most potent AHA.

Glycolic acid begins to operate after it is absorbed into the skin, delivering several benefits to the skin. It has anti-inflammatory, keratolytic, and antioxidant properties, and it functions as both an exfoliant and a moisturizer.

Furthermore, a study proved that glycolic acid boosts collagen formation and thickens the skin’s outer layer.

The Best Jan Marini Products

Here is a list of some top Jan Marini skincare products.

  1. Jan Marini Bioclear Face Lotion ($80)
  2. Jan Marini Bioclear Face Lotion contains glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and azelaic acid. Using all of these acid substances on your skin may sound intimidating, but they are all great skincare agents that operate in different ways to keep skin clear, smooth, and youthful.

Salicylic acid (a beta-hydroxy acid) effectively treats dullness, acne, and clogged pores. It works by exfoliating the pore lining, releasing trapped oil and debris. It can also break down keratin, a protein that functions as a “glue” in the stratum corneum, keeping dead skin cells together. This is helpful because dead skin cells can accumulate on the surface of your skin, making it appear dull and perhaps obstructing pores.

Azelaic acid normalizes the shedding of dead skin cells and expands the follicle, resulting in fewer comedones (pimples). It is scientifically proven to inhibit the growth of acne bacteria. Because of its dual function, azelaic acid is one of the more effective acne ingredients.

  3. Jan Marini Skin Zyme ($70)
  4. Skin Zyme is a mask that helps in instant skin polishing. Papain is the primary enzyme present in papaya fruit. Papain dissolves keratin, a protein that holds dead skin cells together. Papain exfoliates the top layer of dead skin cells by dissolving keratin, leaving skin brighter and more even in tone. Exfoliating the skin also aids in acne prevention since dead skin cells can clog pores.

  5. Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream ($112)
  6. The essential ingredients of Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream, a smooth moisturizer that moisturizes while simultaneously providing anti-aging benefits, are growth factors and peptides. While each of the growth factors and peptides in this formula has its mode of action, the ultimate goal is to tell fibroblasts (collagen-making skin cells) to begin producing more collagen.

Because collagen is the protein that keeps your skin tight and youthful, boosting new collagen production is one strategy to lessen indications of aging. Antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, and E are mixed with growth factors and peptides. The addition of fragrance compounds is the only unattractive thing about Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream!

  7. Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser ($42)
  8. As the name implies, glycolic acid is the main ingredient in Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser. Glycolic acid, as an AHA, has the potential to exfoliate the skin, boost the skin’s natural regeneration process, and aid in moisture retention. It exfoliates the skin by concentrating on dead skin cells (corneocytes) through a process known as corneocyte desquamation. The cell turnover rate is improved by improving their breakdown and increasing the separation of skin cells, resulting in smoother, more radiant skin.

Jan Marini reviews and products are almost magic.

I have used the products of Jan Marini and they never disappoint me. They always work for me. I recently started using Jan Marini CeluliTx Cellulite Cream and it seems to be helping with cellulite. Well, this is not what it was advertised for but is lessening the loose skin on my arms and the lines around my mouth. While it is a slow process, I am encouraged and will continue to use Jan Marini CeluliTx Cellulite Cream.
