How does it work?

A study published in Current Opinion in Urology[1] found that increasing testosterone can increase sexual drive and effectively treat impotence in hypogonadal men.

Other substances increase the production of nitric oxide in your body. This improves the flow of blood all over the body, including the penis. This can treat erectile dysfunction, strengthening erections. Research in the Journal of Hypertension concluded that nitric oxide is a good treatment for erectile dysfunction.

What are the ingredients in Zyrexin?

There are several active ingredients in this supplement, which may raise testosterone levels and increase the amount of nitric oxide in your system. Some of the primary active substances include:

Yohimbe Extract – A nerve-blocking agent in the bark of this tree. In large amounts, it can lead to some serious side effects like high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney, thyroid, liver disease or seizure disorder, anxiety, mood changes, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, urinary retention, pupil dilation, or skin flushing.

Gingko Biloba – This is an ancient tree which contains terpenoids. They may improve blood flow all over the body, which makes gingko an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction. This plant also contains flavonoids, which are rich in immunity-building anti-oxidants according to the Mayo Clinic.

L-arginine – This is a key amino acid. It plays a role in fat and weight loss because it’s responsible for regulating fat and sugar metabolism. A 2005 research study published in the Journal of Nutrition[3] looked at ingestion of L-arginine by diabetic rats. They found that L-arginine does lead to weight lossin this trial.

Are there any side effects?

In high doses, Yohimbe has a number of side effects associated with it, including stomach upset, excitation, tremor, sleep problems, anxiety or agitation, high blood pressure, a racing heartbeat, dizziness, stomach problems, drooling, sinus pain, irritability, headache, frequent urination, abdominal bloating, rash, nausea, and vomiting[1].

Guaranteed erection, but are side effects worth it?

As a 62-year-old man, my libido has been declining in recent years, and most common aphrodisiacs aren’t working like they used to. I stumbled on Zyrexin at a drug store 3 or 4 years ago and took 2 tablets before going to a strip club. Within 45 minutes I began getting hard, and when sexually stimulated either visually or with close female contact; the result was great! At those first few uses, I never noticed the chills and shaking effect; because I was fully dressed and moving around a little. 2 years ago, I began taking 1 or 2 pills as directed prior to my massages; so as not to embarrass myself when naked with a little flaccid penis. However, while undergoing the massage, which always felt great; I began to get chills and began experiencing muscle shaking and quivering to the point that the therapist would notice and have to apply thermal pressure to the affected areas and a heating pad to relax the muscles. I had isolated this down to the Yohimbine extract after years of experimenting with herbs and their effects. Yohimbe is fantastic for an NO boost to the genitals; but general ‘yukky’ feeling and a feeling of rapid heartbeat, anxiety, and chills are the biggest downsides. So if I take it at all, I take 1 capsule with only 8 mg of Yohimbine, and I still have a decent erection with moderated side effects. I would take 2 in the summer months or when I’m warmly dressed in the winter, but God, I wish I had my 25-year-old ‘Woody’ back without having to take any pills!
