Experience

Alexia Lewis, MS, RD, LD/N, CHC, CPT is a registered dietitian nutritionist who is licensed in Florida. She has coached thousands of people in her roles as a nutritionist at a university and as a health coach in worksite wellness. Alexia has taught undergraduate nutrition classes at the University of North Florida. You may have seen her on television with WJXT Channel 4 or First Coast Living; seen her quoted in Shape Magazine Online, What's Good by V, or the My Fitness Pal blog; or read her articles in the Florida Times-Union or 904 Fitness Magazine.

Education

Alexia earned her master's degree from the University of North Florida where she also completed her dietetic internship. She earned her registered dietitian credential (RD/RDN) in 2012. She then obtained certifications from the American Council on Exercise as a certified health coach (2016) and personal trainer (2018). She pays it forward by mentoring nutrition students and acting as a preceptor for interns.

A Word from Author

I believe life is better with science, humor, and delicious food. I know how difficult lifestyle changes can be. I have struggled with weight since my teen years and survived a heart attack in 2007. My goal is to help adults who are ready to take control of their health make nutrition and exercise easy so they can reach their physical health goals and still eat the cookie. Yes, you can still eat cookies.

I believe the way we have been dieting and approaching our health for decades is wrong! It is time to stop hating yourself healthy and finally ditch the diets that are designed for you to fail. I want you to Love Yourself Healthy instead. I am building a community of confident women of all sizes who are comfortable in their skin and are living intentionally to improve health, weight, and happiness on Facebook.
