RediMind Review – Is It Safe & Worth The Money?

RediMind Review – Is It Safe & Worth The Money?

This article reviews the safety and effectiveness of RediMind. Learn the science behind this product.

About RediMind

RediMind is a vegetarian supplement that producers claim may enhance memory and cognitive function through a proprietary blend of natural ingredients. According to the manufacturer, this product combines five ingredients that have been found to boost acetylcholine.

Acetylcholine plays an important role in memory function. However, as individuals age, acetylcholine levels begin to decline.

A review in the journal Current Opinion in Neurobiology, a peer-reviewed publication, summarized that muscarinic and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors play a role in encoding new memories. The review also concluded that acetylcholine may enhance memory encoding.

RediMind Ingredients – What to Look For?

This product contains a proprietary blend of the following ingredients:

  • Bacopa Monnieri Powder – Also known as Brahmi, bacopa monnieri is a perennial herb.
  • Ginkgo Biloba Powder – Derived from the Ginkgo tree that is native to China, ginkgo biloba is well-known for its potential memory-enhancing properties[1].
  • Alpha GPC 50% – A natural compound found in the brain that transports choline efficiently across the blood-brain barrier and serves as a biological precursor for acetylcholine.
  • Lion’s Mane Powder – An ancient Chinese medicinal mushroom with clinical support found in improving cognition and memory[2].
  • Huperzine A – A compound derived from the Huperzia Serrata firmoss, native to India and Southeast Asia, and preserves healthy levels of acetylcholine by suppressing the action of acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme which breaks down this essential neurotransmitter.

How Does It Work – The Science Behind RediMind

The manufacturer of this product claims this supplement promotes healthy levels of acetylcholine, which could forge new neural connections and power the information-sharing network in the mind.

This process, according to the manufacturer, can restore retentive memory, clear focus, and help with more confident decision-making.

RediMind Pros and Cons

  • This product is vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO.
  • A study in the journal, Current Therapeutic Research, found that Alpha GPC significantly improved cognitive functions, behavior, and personality.
  • Although there is conflicting evidence, Bacopa monnieri has been found to improve the speed of visual information.
  • Huperzine A was compared with other acetylcholinergic substances and was found to have better penetration through the blood-brain barrier, for improved cognitive effects (source).
  • Studies have shown the positive effects of ginkgo biloba and memory[1].
  • Lion’s mane has been found to improve mild cognitive[2].
  • Since the blend is proprietary, the exact amounts of each ingredient is unclear.

Did not improve memory after 3 bottles. Expensive and took too long to receive. Did not improve stage your stage 1 symptoms.

Potential harmful with poor customer support

I am 48 and took this product for 2 months last year to try to elevate brain fog and improve memory and concentration. The advertising seemed to have a good scientific rationale. Unfortunately, I started having some neurological symptoms and was diagnosed in hospital by CT & MRI with hydrocephalus. I was told to stop using this product as it might be increasing CSF levels. I had decompression surgery in August 2019 (some benign brain tissue was restricting CSF drainage-more common than you’d think) and didn’t try taking Redimind again until March 2020 as I wanted to fully recover from surgery. Within a few days, I started experiencing headaches and tingling and as I still had nearly 3 bottles left, I thought I would contact Redimind, explain the circumstances and ask whether a partial refund might be possible rather than just bin them. My email in May was ignored and a follow-up email yesterday received an abrupt ‘No, of course, it’s not possible’ followed by ‘Try to find something to do with your day. Surely you have other products in your cabinet from a year ago. Maybe you can contact them as well and ask for money…’
    Best Regards,

Unhelpful, rude, and totally unprofessional. I posted a review on the Nutreance website yesterday but notice it has been deleted and really only positive reviews are listed, none of them recent. Not a credible company I’m afraid!

    Didn't Notice Much Difference!!!

I bought this capsule for my husband who doesn’t get a lot of sleep due to insomnia but needs to have a good focus at work. After taking it for 2 weeks, I observed that this product did not work for him, maybe the difference was not noticeable. Instead, my husband had adverse effects of it like headaches and dizziness. So he just stopped taking this product. It’s really hard to say if they worked or not, but we would not purchase it again because we really didn’t notice any difference. May be work for others with some other health conditions.
