The cure for insomnia can be done by extracting fresh juice of valerian wallichi, and intaking 1 tsp of this every night before going to sleep. Doing regular exercise or partaking in some physical activities everyday is the cure for insomnia. Walking, jogging, skipping as well as swimming are the good exercises for treating insomnia.
Mix 1 tsp each of juice of celery leaves with stalks and honey and have this mixture everyday as the cure for insomnia. Consuming raw onion salad everyday too can solve the problem of sleep.
Combining 2 tsp of fenugreek leaves juice with 1 tsp of honey and having this combination at bed times daily can also be considered as the cure for insomnia. Having 3 cups of curd everyday is also advisable for people suffering from lack of sleep.
In a cup of boiling water, add 1 tsp each of chamomile flowers, hops as well as valeria; and let it steep for 45 minutes. Strain the drink and have it an hour before sleeping and consider this as the cure for insomnia.
Combine bottle gourd juice and sesame oil in equal parts and massage this combination on the scalp every night as the cure for insomnia. The cooked leaves of the bottle gourd can be taken as a vegetable, which is also helpful in curing insomnia. Increase in the consumption of vitamin B foods like wholegrain cereals, pulses, and nuts are effective in treating insomnia.
Boil lettuce seeds in water and have this decoction when warm. Else, boil a tsp of aniseed in water and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Strain this decoction and drink when warm. Hot milk and honey can also be added to this mix as the cure for insomnia.
Mix 0.5 gm of rauwolfia with cardamom and eat it. In case the problem is chronic, double the intake.
