Neck care to take care of the thin skin of the neck

The neck is one of the most neglected parts of the body when it comes to cleaning the other parts of your body. But the fact is that the neck is one of the areas of the body that is most vulnerable to skin darkening. This is because the skin on the neck is much thinner than it is on the face. This makes it more prone to UV damage from natural sunlight as well as any other forms of UV light; hence neck care is vital in order to avoid these damages.

Thin Skin Of The NeckA dark neck is a common complaint today. There are many reasons for this problem. The main reason is a lack of proper cleaning. Most of us tend to forget or even ignore to clean the neck while we are cleaning our face. This leads to an accumulation of dirt which makes the skin on the neck dark.

Another reason is that the several fine folds of skin present around the neck have a tendency to trap dust as well as sweat particles. Over a period of time, this will lead to darkening of the skin. What ever may be the reason, neck care requires cleansing as well as the lightening of the color of your skin.

Milk also acts as a cleanser. You may use plain milk in order to cleanse your neck. Milk is an excellent cleanser besides being a good toner too. After cleansing, neck care requires you to scrub your neck with an exfoliating scrub that is granular. A scrub that you easily get in any medical shop is good enough or you can even make your own scrub. For this, you need to make a paste of olive oil and sugar crystals, which can then be used to scrub your neck. Use it in gentle circular motions till all the sugar has dissolved. Such a scrub will also help to even out the tone of your skin.
