Fade age spots which are caused due to excess pigmentation in the skin

Fade Age SpotsThe reason why these are called age spots is because the older people have them usually because of years of unprotected sun exposure. Fortunately, there are some simple ways in order to fade age spots at home as well as treat the dark brown spots on the skin.

There are ways to fade age spots which don’t require trips to the doctor or any kind of prescriptions. For a simple treatment of age spots, dab the juice of a lemon on these age spots at least twice in a day. Lemon juice is mildly acidic. Hence it can, at times be strong enough in order to slough off the top layers of skin in order to remove age spots. It may take upto a few weeks in order to see results of this age spot treatment.

Another quick way in order to fade age spots is to blend honey as well as yogurt together in order to create natural bleach that will lighten the spots. Mix equal amounts of plain yogurt and honey. Apply this skin lightening mixture to the age spot. Now leave it to dry on the skin for 30 minutes and then rinse it off. The mixture can be applied to the area once in a day and you will be able to see results in approximately one to two weeks.

Not many people are aware that applying aloe vera gel directly from the leaves of a living plant to your skin is one of the best ways in order to slough away dead cells as well as encourage the growth of healthy ones. Hence aloe vera gel is a great way to fade age spots as it will remove the top layers of skin and promote the growth of healthy cells in their place. Apply this gel to the area once or twice in a day for maximum benefits.
